PRIVACY
Privacy Policy
This policy explains what SteadyMile collects, how that information is used, and the choices available to you.
Effective and last updated: October 6, 2026
Who this policy covers
This Privacy Policy applies to the SteadyMile mobile application, website, and related support communications. SteadyMile is a trucking operations tool for owner-operators, small fleets, and their invited drivers.
Information we collect
Account and profile information
We collect information needed to create and secure your account, such as your name, email address, authentication method, account identifier, and company role. If you use Sign in with Apple or Google, we receive the basic profile information that provider makes available for authentication. SteadyMile does not request access to your Gmail, Google Drive, Apple iCloud files, or contacts.
Trucking-operation information
You and authorized members of your company may enter company details, trucks, drivers, assignments, loads, mileage, brokers or customers, fuel entries, expenses, recurring expenses, driver-pay schedules, service records, maintenance schedules, rates, and related notes. Some of this information may contain business or financial data.
Technical and diagnostic information
We may collect app version, device and operating-system details, crash reports, error traces, session health, network status, and similar diagnostics. SteadyMile configures its error-monitoring tools not to intentionally send passwords, authentication tokens, load notes, financial values, or driver email addresses with error events.
Support communications
If you contact support, we receive your email address and whatever information you include in the message. Please do not send passwords, authentication codes, or other secrets by email.
How we use information
- Provide, synchronize, secure, and maintain SteadyMile.
- Show authorized company members the records relevant to their role.
- Calculate operational summaries, expenses, and truck performance.
- Authenticate accounts and help prevent fraud or misuse.
- Send account confirmation, recovery, and security emails.
- Diagnose crashes, fix errors, and improve reliability.
- Respond to support, bug reports, and feature requests.
- Comply with applicable law and protect users and the service.
Local and offline storage
SteadyMile stores certain account and company records in an encrypted or app-protected area of your device, including a local database used for offline viewing and synchronization. Signing out, deleting the app, or deleting your account can remove some or all locally stored data, depending on the action and your device settings.
Service providers and sharing
We use service providers only where needed to operate SteadyMile. They process information on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments. Current providers include:
- Supabase for authentication, databases, and backend services.
- Apple and Google when you choose their sign-in options.
- Resend for transactional account email delivery.
- Sentry for crash and application-error monitoring.
- Apple for application distribution and future in-app purchases.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not share Google user data for advertising or unrelated purposes. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.
Company access and driver records
Company owners and authorized members can access company records based on their role. If a driver leaves a company or deletes their SteadyMile account, operational records belonging to that company may remain so the owner retains accurate historical and financial records. Those records may retain the driver's display name while removing the driver's account access and other account information.
Retention and deletion
We generally retain account and company information while the related account or company remains active. Users can correct many records in the app. Drivers can leave a company, and account holders can request or initiate account deletion. Company owners can permanently delete their company and its data through the app after completing the confirmation steps.
Deletion may not immediately remove limited copies held in security logs, transactional email records, backups, or records we must retain for legal or fraud-prevention purposes. Those copies are isolated and removed or anonymized according to the applicable provider's retention cycle. For deletion help, visit the support page.
Your choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive information about how your personal information is handled. You can manage many records in SteadyMile or contact us for assistance. We will verify requests where reasonably necessary to protect your account and company data.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No storage or transmission system can be guaranteed completely secure, so please use a strong password, protect your device, and notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.
Children
SteadyMile is intended for working adults and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the service.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as SteadyMile changes. We will revise the date above and provide additional notice when a material change requires it.
